Fine. I got a DP from a co-worker since I was asked to work all day for her tomorrow. It was long, slow, boring, frustrating, funny, entertaining, and relaxing. All rolled into almost 24 hours. I am quite tired though. I don't think going to bed early helps my case there.

Well, goodness. this is a tough one. On a Tuesday? Where did I go? I took Greg to work, came home, went to work, picked up Greg, then back to the home. Same thing, every....single....day!

Habit Breaking

What habit of yours would you most like to eliminate?

Biting the dead skin from my lips, or licking my lips because they are constantly dry. It's so annoying, hurts my lips, and I'm sure is terribly unattractive. I need to stop that, like yesterday!

I think in past years I was describing my current life in one word. I think that's easier to do than sum up the last 28.5 years. So my life currently: Disappointed.

Of course this is just in one aspect of my life, but it is affecting a lot of my feelings. Disappointment in decisions that were made, that really shouldn't have been. Disappointment in not getting answers. Disappointment for others. Disappointment for myself. Disappointment in the company I work for. Quite a bit of disappointment in that area.

Headline

What was the biggest headline in the news today, and what are your thoughts?

I'm not sure it's the BIGGEST highlight, however it is pretty big for Wyoming fans. The men's basketball team won their conference, so they are going to the "big dance." First time since 2002 I think, so that's pretty neat. I guess. If you follow that type of stuff. Proud to be from Wyoming! (Especially since they beat USU in the opening round!)

How much ‘me’ time did you get today?

I got enough. I have about 2 hours before work, and then I had a little bit after and late last night after Greg had gone to bed. It wasn't like, soak in a hot tub, have a pedi done time, but just alone, listen to the music I want to listen to time.

I most desperately want to be at the beach. Any beach, where it's warm of course! I just want to sit in the sand and watch the ocean. I don't see much of anything like that around here.

What is the most valuable thing you own?

I own a lot of valuable photos, as well as some heirlooms from my Great-Grandmother. I love that my house has a display case right as you walk in the door for them to be on display (and safe).

It's about 7. We are doing better at staying organized and keeping things clean. Just don't go in the side room where we stash everything! :)

Well, I spend money on bills, and occasionally on a random item of clothing every now and then, however, we are doing well at saving, just too bad it's not enough. It's never enough!

Man, I'd really bad with this one. I still haven't really even tried any local eateries. So I think one of these days I need to just sit down and make a list of the places that I'd like to try. I've heard there are a few really good ones. It's just a matter of getting Greg to take me!

I think pictures is still a good answer. I must be getting old, but I have a hard time remember things that have happened, so luckily I have pictures to be able to help remind me and job my memory. That's why I take so many random pictures. I need to remember!

Challenged Morals

Again, I don't have an answer, and I concur with last year's response. Though if you want a story, I could give you this. They messed up on my payroll, and I somehow received 2 hours of overtime. I could have easily just let it slide, and they probably wouldn't have noticed, but I let them know, and it was taken out of my next paycheck (ha!) But it's all good. It was a nice check I received, but it wasn't hard to say, "that's not right"

Hoping

That I'll live my life so that I leave a lasting impact on the people in my lives. Whether I die tomorrow, or in 57 years from now, I want people to know who I am, and what I have accomplished, and of course they'll only remember the good things!

Hmm...I tried prime rib for the first time on Saturday. We had a gift card to Texas Roadhouse, so we splurged a bit, with it being Valentine's and all. It was actually pretty good. I don't know that I'd pay that much regularly, but an every now and then splurge is always fun.

Today is  Greg's birthday, and we actually made a cake and had candles! Love that hunk of mine!

I think just being anywhere that you are completely miserable. It could be the greatest job to one person, but the worst job to another. I'm quite happy where I am, so hopefully that doesn't change anytime soon.

I would really try not to get so upset about little things that happen at work, that somehow manage to upset me for the rest of the day. I need to just stop getting so worked up over little things, and realize that they don't really matter. Stop being a big baby.

I really don't like this question. I hate it when they ask me at the doctors, and I always have. How about instead of numbers, it's on a scale of "none" to "Holy crap I hurt!"

Right now I'm at a "Meh" level. Meaning around a 5, aka my 'normal'

If you could spend 15 minutes with any living person, who would it be and why?

I think I'd have to say either President Monson, or President Uchtdorf. I just think it would be amazing to just spend 15 minutes with them, talking with them, feeling their spirit, being inspired by them. Just spend a normal 15 minutes. I think we'd go get ice cream.

Had some lovely talks with my co-workers, watched and laughed at three new girl episodes, and created an inappropriate creation in my desk drawer on accident....I opened my drawer after I had done it and started laughing. I then took a picture to send to Greg and rearranged the items in my drawer to not be inappropriate anymore. It was awesome.

 

Love my Job

What do you love most about your job?

 Still is the co-workers. We've been together for over a year now, and I can still say that I love each and everyone of them. We have such an amazing chemistry, it's quite amazing to me how well we get along. That being said, I'm a bit nervous to see how the next few months play out, as our manager, who has been there for about 15 years, will be leaving. That's going to jumble things up a bit. But, they are all truly the best!

It was our city bill (water, electricity, etc.) at $155. It's always high. I learned that we pay nearly as much as Steve (my co-worker) does, and he lives in a real house. Hmmm, something's not right here!
