Seriously? Let's just go with the entire One Direction CD. I love their new album. Through the Dark is the best song.

I typically wake up to my phone alarm. It's either 'Through the Dark' by One Direction or 'I Won't Give Up' by Jason Mraz. I didn't wake up to anything this morning. I just stayed in bed. Slept in. Or tried to anyway!

What is the last song you listened to?

I didn't listen to much today, so it was probably hymn 259, Hope of Israel, which was the closing hymn in sacrament today.

Can't Live Without

What's the one thing you can't live without?

 

Technologically speaking it would have to be my phone. With smart phones you have access to just about everything...internet, phone, text, music, etc. It's sad that we have become so reliant upon technology, but let's face it. Is why it was created...to make things easier.

 

Non-technologically speaking, I'd have to say music, even though I guess that could kind of new technological. But I love music, whether it's One Direction, or church hymns, or Christmas songs, they each can set a tone to my day. They help me in hard times, in happy times, help me feel the Spirit. I love music and am grateful for it in my life.

It's so weird when I get asked this, because I know we have a million things we say, but when put on the spot, I can't think. How do you cheer yourself up when you're feeling down?

 

Well if Greg isn't here to do it for me, I typically turn on some music, maybe watch some music videos. One Direction vids always cheer me up. ;)

Also, ESPN news in the background. I really miss NFL season. NBA and college bball just don't excite me so much.

Now it's Bruno Mars...Pandora kinda rocks. Good mix of music.

Going my back to my 1D obsession. I may have watched the Brits the other night. One Direction was performing. How could I NOT watch it? Unfortunately they lost to Mumford & Sons, but one the Global Success award. Luckily, the Brits replayed again later that evening, and I was watching the Big Bang theory with Greg, when I decided to switch over to the Brits to see if the boys had performed or not. Talk about PERFECT timing. They had just announced the award right before 1D performed, so I got to watch it twice. It was awesome.

My Community...

I actually don't want to answer today's question either...mostly because I don't want to offend anyone in my community! (actually because I can't think of 3 things I love about it) So I'm not answering, and am too lazy to find another topic for today.

Today has been a weird day.

I had two work nightmares last night that gave me a weird vibe. Then our work meeting was different. Then the conversation after 1:30 was odd too.

Then a comment someone made kind of upset me...mostly because it's true...but it still bothers me, because it's something I'm working on.

So then I decided to finally take down our Christmas tree. I may or may not have had a meltdown when Greg wanted to take it down Saturday. It went by way too fast. WAY TOO FAST! I hate that we don't have any more fun holidays for a while. I vote that there should be a holiday every single month.

Also, One Direction. Kind of love them at the moment. I'm not usually a fan of guys in skinny jeans, but these boys....I kind of dig it! (And they are all legal, so I can say stuff like that!) Harry's hair kills me. There's just a lot of it...but he's a cute kid and has a killer voice. But I have to say that Zayn is the hottie of the group. I may or may not have watched their music videos a million times tonight.
