Last New Thing

What was the last new thing you tried?

Very good question. I think I tried 'pocket scrapbooking' or Project Life. It was awesome. I love it. It's so simple, yet effective. Now I want to do physical albums, not just digital. There are some talented people out there that I wish I could scrap like.

What do you collect and how many do you have?

Man, I was going to have a different answer than last year, but I'm going with digital scrapbook kits. I really need to count them someday, but I bet I have over a thousand. I know I have a lot more than I did last year. Of course I havent scrapped with half of them. They're just pretty to look at, so I buy. Its addicting.

Creativity

Were you creative today? How?

Umm...I guess I got a little creative with doing some digi scrapping. I don't know? I currently have a love/hate relationship with photoshop & my computer at the moment. I'm in need of a new computer, really, but I don't want to fork out the money to get one (yet!) I'm just hoping/praying that it will last me until we can afford a new one. In the mean time, it puts a bit of a damper on my creativity time, due to the frustration of slowness and quitting on me. But as long as it's running, I'm going to do my best not to complain too much, and just deal with what it gives me. Please don't die on me computer! I love you!

Dream Room

If you could design a room in your house to suite only your needs, what would it look like?

Good question. I’ve always been obsessed with scrapbooking, so my room would be full of scrapbook supplies. Floor to ceiling shelves of papers, stickers, etc. Even though I don’t do much traditional scrapbooking, it will still be full of stuff to do it. I will also have a new mac on a cute little desk with an awesome printer in case I wanted to do a bit of hybrid scrapping. Basically just an awesome room where I can go to scrap in peace. Oh, and it'd have an endless supply of 'snacks' (aka junk food) and awesome music!

Name three place you'd like to visit this year.

Places I'd LIKE to visit, or places that would actually be more likely that I'd visit. Places I'd LIKE to visit -- Hawaii (warm), England, back East (DC, Virginia, Maryland, etc). But since those aren't likely to happen, I would say -- the Hogle Zoo, sunny California (I wanna go to the beach), and Cold Stone (that way I'll at least make it to one of them!).

And since I've been keeping up with P365 (picture a day), here's the one from today. I finally got them on my computer, so hopefully I'll get some recent updates too. I'm following Fat Mum Slim's prompts which has been a good way to keep me going with this since my life is pretty boring.

Since I didn't have to work today, I decided to photograph what I do when I'm not at work, which is usually some type of scrapbooking. Here I'm making some templates. I busted a pack out in no time today.
