This is what I’ve been up to lately…

{2013} :: {2014}

Work....work....work....and more work. Other than that we sit at home, watch "The Killing" and sleep on occasion. Not so exciting of days.

The Lately

This is what I’ve been up to lately…

{2013}

 

Really not much. Just work and doing the occasional things for my calling. Doing some work on Photoshop, but mostly playing TapTiles or Majhong. Yes it's a major waste of time.

Photo: It's a winter wonderland. I vote it's Christmas again! Lovely day. Hope it keeps people inside and not going to the credit union.

Three Things

List three things you enjoyed doing this week.

 

Davies family Christmas party. Its been years since I last went to one, and it was great seeing aunts and uncles, cousins, and other family members. Even if half of them didn't recognize me. It was great seeing them.

 

Coloring with Aidan and making gingerbread houses with the family.

 

Working all day with only two other people. Oh wait, that wasn't quite so fun.

Visiting Teaching (yes before the end of the month even!)
Helping keep score for church volleyball
I'm pretty boring.

 

Photo: Month of Gratitude Day 20. Grateful for all the little ways the Lord watches out for and helps me. I can't tell you how many times I've almost dropped things and somehow they land just perfectly so I don't have to bend over, or my reflexes are ninja like, and I somehow catch them. Or like today, he knew I needed a twenty minute break, so when I swallowed my massive pill, it got caught in my throat. Now this has happened before, but it only takes a few minutes before I can get it down. Today it was such for over twenty minutes, so I got to chill in the breakroom for that time, and just when I was on the verge of breaking down, I was able to get it down. These are just a few silly examples, but I know the Lord is mindful of me and my abilities and handicaps. I'm grateful for that knowledge and grateful for his watchful, protective care.

Lately in Feb

Lately...life's been about the same.

Work is alright. I love my job, just not some of the things that go on, but we have a lot of fun. I have some great co-workers that keep me laughing.

My baby sister is getting married...that's kind of weird. She's like 10, so it's a bit crazy.

We had New Beginnings tonight. It turned out really well. We had our girls choose a pair of their favorite shoes and how they help them to "Stand in Holy Places." Our girls are amazing. I love hearing them talk. They're pretty fantastic. It was a great night.
