Birth of 2 nieces: Breklin & Myka
2 nieces baptized: Lilli & Nori

If I had to choose ONE, I'd have to say the 1D concert AND the  Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma 5K. So much love and support from family and friends.

Doctor, Doctor

The last doctor's appointment you made was because...

 I have mental health issues. Okay, that sounds far worse than it is. Let's try depression, anxiety, etc. I guess when you get diagnosed with a chronic illness, they like to make sure you're okay. Which, I'm not. I struggle some days more than others, but it's okay. It's life. What can we do? I do like the psychologist though. He's been a great help.

Photo: The other night I was looking online for {One} Direction shirts to wear to their concert in about a week and a half (YAY!!) and Greg comes up and tells me I'm not going to buy a shirt. I tell him yes I am because I figure he's just being Greg and hating on 1D, but then I get this in the mail (plus some cute clothes) from @adriennehoge and some girls from her office who are also @onedirection fans! #onedirectionfandomunite! Jk, but I love it and can't wait to wear it 24/7. Oh, and did I mention I'm going to their concert in less than a couple weeks? #excited #mydailyhappy365

Wake Me Up

I typically wake up to my phone alarm. It's either 'Through the Dark' by One Direction or 'I Won't Give Up' by Jason Mraz. I didn't wake up to anything this morning. I just stayed in bed. Slept in. Or tried to anyway!

Weird. I don't know what's wrong. Ever since yesterday I've just felt a bit off. Like there is something going on that I don't know about, or something is going to happen? I don't even know. I just feel weird!

I think I said crab dip last year, and I think I'm sticking with it. Or pecan pie. Yummy. I'm excited for Thanksgiving!

 

Photo: Month of Gratitude Day 23. Grateful for technology. I'm grateful for cell phones, iPads, kindles, tv, internet, etc. Technology is amazing and there are all many things you can do with it... including watching a seven hour broadcast of 1D Day on YouTube. (Okay, I didn't watch all 7 hours, but quite a bit of it). Its amazing that you can watch people hundreds of miles away over the internet. (That doesn't sound creepy). Grateful for the many forms of communication technology provides as well.

A TV. Ours is dying.

Photo: Month of Gratitude: Day 18. I'm grateful for the opportunity to go visiting teaching. I've had/kinda still have a pretty negative attitude about it, but once I actually go and get to meet new sisters, I come away feeling better about it. I'm grateful for my partner, we've only been together two months, but she is so sweet and I look forward to getting to know her better. I'm also grateful for the ladies I visit teach. I got a new sister this month and I'm excited to get to know her as well as the other sister I've only visited twice. They are both great and I'm grateful for the opportunity to speak with them outside of church and get to know them. I'm proud is myself for making it out two months in a row!  (And it's not even the last week of the month) celebrating with a creamy!

 

Beautiful

What is the most beautiful thing you saw today?

{2012}

 

It snowed a little bit, so that was beautiful. One Direction also released their new video, and oh my goodness, it was really beautiful. The number of photographs in it and the way it was set up...so amazing. I loved it!!

Under Pressure

What pressure did you feel today?

Umm... considering today is Saturday...I didn't feel much. We'll unless you count when Greg pressured me to make a decision on whether I wanted to get One Direction cups from Wal Mart. Guess what I chose...

First Thing

What is the first thing you did this morning? Was it part of your routine?

 

I listened to a bit of "Little Things" by One Direction before hitting the snooze button, waiting five minutes and repeating. Yes it's part of my routine. Every. Single. Day. No wonder I'm always late to work.

Computer

What computer do you use the most?

 

Unfortunately, it would be my work computer. Like I've mentioned before, it's hard for me to sit for long at my computer, and it is kind of dying, so until we move my computer to a more convenient location, I won't be using it much. Its all good. I have my phone.

Three Things Today

Name the things you've done today.

1. Went to work and worked all day. Man that was tough. It's been a while since I've worked 8+ hours. I survived though. Don't you worry.

2. Came home and relaxed. Took a much needed bath to warm me up and relax me.

3. Went to the One Direction movie "This is Us." Oh my goodness. It was awesome. I already want to see it again. It was cool learning more about them and their personal lives. Plus they are hilarious and I love them. Thanks to Shaina for going with me! Seriously, I want to watch it again. Like now.

Shoes

Describe your favorite pair of shoes you own now.

I’d have to go with my moccasins that look a lot like slippers. I wear them any time I have to slip on a pair of shoes real quick. They are soft, fuzzy and comfortable, though they might be a little warm for the summer, so I did purchase a new pair of Nike slip on sandals. We’ll see if I like them. Flip-flops are out because I can never find a pair that I like anymore…plus you have to break them in, and that’s never fun. Too bad we can’t just go bare foot everywhere.

Twenty bucks if you can guess the artist. (Lie...you don't get any money!) It was most likely Rock Me, Change My Mind, Cmon Cmon, or I Would by One Direction. I don't remember exactly...but there's an 82.3% chance it was one of those!

Going my back to my 1D obsession. I may have watched the Brits the other night. One Direction was performing. How could I NOT watch it? Unfortunately they lost to Mumford & Sons, but one the Global Success award. Luckily, the Brits replayed again later that evening, and I was watching the Big Bang theory with Greg, when I decided to switch over to the Brits to see if the boys had performed or not. Talk about PERFECT timing. They had just announced the award right before 1D performed, so I got to watch it twice. It was awesome.
